In the active pursuit of innovative and collaborative research for the benefit of the construction industry, CII-HK's Research Committee has been taking positive and vigorous steps to identify researchable areas that will bring about improvement to the overall performance of the industry in a cost effective and yet pragmatic manner. Amongst the best ways is to involve the participation of our members where there is invaluable resource and expertise. The Research Committee therefore has decided to launch the "Grant for Joint Research" Programme.

The Grant for Joint Research Programme will invite joint research proposals with CII-HK four times a year. Worthwhile projects selected by the Executive Board will receive a CII-HK grant of up to 50% of the total project costs, including manpower, equipment and other direct expenditure relating to the project.

Proposals from members are now invited, to reach the Secretariat of CII-HK on or before 31 March 2006.
