Governance Structure

The CII-HK has adopted a governance structure, which is based upon the best practices in today's corporate governance while retaining the uniqueness of the CII as an independent organisation governed by members. The structure consists of Governing Council, Executive Board, Committees, and Secretariat.

Governing Council
The Governing Council is responsible for setting the mission and direction of CII-HK and ensuring that its objectives are achieved.

Executive Board
The Executive Board is responsible for setting major policies and strategies of CII-HK to implement the mission and direction of CII-HK as laid down by the Governing Council.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is responsible for all matters in relation to the membership of CII-HK.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is responsible for all financial matters of CII-HK.

Research Committee
The Research Committee is responsible for providing advice on all research projects which are of general interest and benefit to Members of CII-HK and the construction industry.

Editorial Board
The Editorial Board is responsible for all matters related to the publication of newsletter, research reports, journals and other printed and electronic materials including the website of the Institute.
