The Rapid Demountable
Platform (RDP) won the Gold Medal with Special Commendation of the
Jury and the National Authority for Scientific Research Award of the
Romania Ministry of Education, Research and Youth for the High
Scientific and Technological Level of the Invention at the 36th
International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products
held in Geneva from 2nd to 6th April 2008. The RDP is a safe,
quickly assembled and removed platform for working outside external
walls of high-rise buildings.

The RDP is an applicable by-product of the
collaberative research on "Construction Safety Involving Working at
Height for Residential Building Repair and Maintenance" by CII-HK
and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Patent of this invention
is now pending for Hong Kong and Mainland China. |
