AIM OF CONFERENCE
The Hong Kong construction industry has long been serving as an influential engine for the local economic growth. Following the Asian economic turmoil in late-1997 and the emergence of construction markets in the region, the industry experienced a drastic transformation in workload, resources and market structure. To address the challenges ahead, the Construction Industry Institutes - Hong Kong (CII-HK) is organising the CII-HK Conference 2008 to identify challenges and opportunities for various construction stakeholders in an effort to build a stronger construction industry for Hong Kong.
The CII-HK Conference 2008 will be a timely forum for industry leaders from various disciplines to meet and discuss issues that can benefit from the new frontiers in achieving excellence in the sustainable development of the construction industry during the 21st Century. It also offers a unique opportunity for the next generation of leaders to meet and build relationships with their peers and counterparts from other disciplines.
